Follow Jesus. Make disciples. Live it out!

For Karen Henderson, studying at MCC isn’t just about learning—it’s become part of her journey to follow Jesus. Through the Disciple Makers Path Certificate, she’s learned how to make disciples who make disciples, and she’s already putting those lessons into practice in her small group.

Studying Scripture is about more than gaining knowledge—it’s about growing deeper in God’s Word and allowing His truth to guide our lives. Through MCC’s How to Study the Bible Certificate, our students hope to live out God’s calling and be a blessing to their family, friends, and community.

We’re grateful to walk alongside students like Kalli as they grow in faith, understanding, and purpose.

Great leaders never stop learning, growing, and investing in others.

At Maritime Christian College, students don’t just gain knowledge—they build relationships with fellow ministry leaders and learn how to apply what they’ve learned in their churches and communities.

As one student shared:
“I chose to take classes at MCC to become a better leader while bonding with other church leaders, and I will implement what I have learned in the congregation where I serve.”

If God is loving and all-powerful, why does He allow suffering?

It's one of the hardest questions anyone can ask—and one that Christians have wrestled with for centuries.

The Bible doesn't avoid the reality of pain. In fact, its pages are filled with stories of grief, loss, injustice, and people crying out to God with honest questions. Even Jesus experienced suffering.

While Scripture doesn't give us an easy answer to every "why," it does reveal a God who enters into our brokenness rather than standing far away from it. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we see a God who understands our pain and offers hope beyond it.

If you're walking through a difficult season, know this: God doesn't promise a life free from suffering, but He does promise His presence and the hope that one day He will make all things new.

📖 Read Romans 8:18–39 and Revelation 21:1–5.

What passage of Scripture has encouraged you during a time of suffering?
