CHEM + COWS = 💚💚💚

Thank you to everyone who came out for Moo Let’s Talk! All ice cream bought today for students on behalf of the Chemistry Society will be going toward the Canadian Mental Health Association (PEI Division) thanks to this awesome collaboration between cows and the CMHA!

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended our movie night last night, celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science! 🩷🧪👩‍🔬

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science falls on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, which is also the IUPAC Global Women’s (and Allies’) Breakfast Day!

Here at UPEI, our team will join the Chemistry department in celebrating the IUPAC GWB at the Fox and Crow from 7 AM - 9 AM on Tuesday, February 11th. Enjoy some breakfast, engage with excellent female speakers, and bring a (clean) lab coat to tie dye as well! This event is free, and all are welcome to attend.

We will be watching “Hidden Figures”, a film acknowledging women of colour and their achievements within NASA.
