Grenfell Campus Fine Arts student Ismael Gomezcana Cuevas is bringing his stunning installation, "Halo of Reality," to CBNuit Festival!

Collaborating with Samantha Mutrey-Swain, Keira Clarke, and director Michael Waller, the piece centers on a life-sized, hand-embroidered dress rooted in traditional Guerrero, Mexico artistry—merging movement, sound, and architecture into a living story of memory, identity and resilience.

Big discoveries often start at the smallest (nano) scale!

The new Laboratory for Environmental and Analytical Nanogeochemistry (LEAN) enables students and researchers to work at the nanoscale—where everyday materials exhibit surprising physical and chemical properties.

A massive congratulations to the entire LEAN team, including Dr. Salani Fernando, who just successfully defended her PhD thesis in Boreal Ecosystems and Agricultural Science!
