Challenge Nova Scotia is coming up on Friday, November 13th! 💡

This 8-hour competition brings together students from all programs to solve a real challenge facing Nova Scotia. Participants work in teams to develop innovative solutions and compete for cash prizes.

Ivany Campus and Aviation Institute will be closed on Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving.

The College will be closed to all, and there are no classes for students. The College will reopen on Tuesday, October 13th with regular hours.

We invite the Ivany Campus Community to join us to celebrate the Mi'kmaq History Month. The Student Supports team will be hosting an opening ceremony on our campus.

We welcome Gary Joseph, our elder for NSCC's metro campuses, Bradley Paul, a proud NSCC Alumni and celebrated singer and drummer for Mi'kmaw ceremonies, and our campus community at this beautiful ceremony.

Today, October 1, we celebrate Treaty Day and the beginning of Mi'kmaq History Month, honouring the Mi'kmaq people, their rich cultural history and important contributions throughout Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia). We are all treaty people. As a College we understand the significance of the relationship, and the rights and responsibilities of all Nova Scotians found in the Peace and Friendship Treaties. During Mi’kmaq History Month, we are all encouraged to take time to learn more about the extensive, rich and important heritage of the Mi’kmaq people.
