The app connects IBU students with important resources, campus updates, events, and opportunities-all in one place.

The IBU-Kibbi app is only accessible using the following secure registration process:

• Complete the consent form shared by the Career Accelerator Team.

• Access the registration link in the personalized email invitation and register using your official myIBU email address. Using a personal email address may delay or prevent access.

• Complete your profile and enable notifications to stay informed.

Starting your journey at IBU this fall?

If you want to start working in Canada or access government services, you need to get your Social Insurance Number (SIN).

Conveniently complete the application process at the IBU SIN Clinic on campus during Orientation Day.

Date: August 31, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Please note:

• The clinic is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Students must bring their original passport and a valid study or work permit. Photocopies will not be accepted.

Last week, as part of IBU’s Network With The Best speaker series, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dan Plashkes, CEO and Co-Founder of SP Data Digital.

Dan shared his entrepreneurial journey and valuable insights on innovation, artificial intelligence, leadership, and building successful businesses.

Students gained firsthand perspectives on the realities of entrepreneurship and the mindset required to lead, adapt, and succeed in a rapidly evolving world.

Thank you to Dan Plashkes for sharing his time and expertise with the IBU community, and to Ken Khan, Vice President of Professional Services at SP Data Digital, for helping create this meaningful learning opportunity for our students.
