happy from the newest & happiest hoya in the cabinet 🌱

out of all the hoyas in my collection, this one has pushed the most new leaves at once & I hope it continues because trailing hoyas are so pretty 🤩 checkout & you’ll see what I mean!

a late but happy nonetheless 🌱

when I first received this plant I was pretty much petrified to touch it or do anything with it in fear that it would die😅 I ended up trying a few things after accepting it’s potentially inevitable death 🫣 at first I tried a cloche but with it potted in soil, regardless of what I did, pests seemed to thrive 🫠 so into leca she went with some fertilizer & has been doing well in the cabinet since with average humidity (thankfully!)

any extra care tips are welcome! I’m hoping to have it up on a pole soon to help those leaves grow bigger & stronger🤞🏼

happy from my not so tiny 💕 it’s made so much progress since I picked it up from & now it’s longest vine is almost over 2 ft!

I find my string of things tend to be some of my lower maintenance plants. this gal stays under bright direct light from grow lights in the cabinet & gets watered mostly when I remember, but usually when the soil is almost completely dried out 😅 I’ve heard keeping them on a more consistent watering schedule can promote larger leaf growth, do you do this with yours & have you noticed a difference?

after murdering my (death by overwatering) I’m super thankful I’ve been able to keep this gal happy!

happy friday🌿or should I say considering this stuff gives our plants all the goods they need to help them thrive ✨

the last couple of months I’ve been honing in on how I do my plant care & the products I use to keep my plants happy, it’s safe to say this Ash&Fig
organic liquid fertilizer is liquid gold 🙌🏼

I’ve been using this for my props & plants in leca, ever since they’ve consistently pushed out healthy roots & new growth! if you’re in the market for a new fertilizer or want something new to try, be sure to grab some from ☺️

I already showcased this new growth on my stories but thought it deserved a spot on the feed as well for ☺️ despite the fact that I’m now noticing you have to zoom in to see it 🙃

I repotted this a few too many times & it wasn’t looking good. I think my biggest mistake was switching it from soil to leca when I thought one wasn’t working. so I pushed it to the back of my cabinet, neglected it for a while & here we are with a new little leaf 🥺

it’s now back in soil & gets bright direct light in the cabinet. I mist it occasionally & water when the soil is dry. if you have any extra tips to help make this gal even happier I’d love to know!

happy all you gorgeous plant people 🤩 if it’s a holiday where you are too, I hope you’re enjoying it and taking some time for yourself!

now let’s talk about this sweet little climber not long ago I shared a post about how I wanted to put her up onto a moss plank & I finally did 👏🏼 within about a week she’s pushed out a new leaf & I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow. seeing that new growth felt so good & helped me feel more confident in my ability to care for it as well ☺️

direct light comes from the cabinet grow lights & I try to keep the moss plank relatively moist but find with the humidifier running next to it, I don’t have to do this as often 🙌🏼 water when the top two inches of soil are dry (sometimes I let this go a little longer) && thats it for this happy little clam 💃

a slow grower but worth every bit of patience 😌 I’ve loved watching this little plant grow! I think it’s the only plant I actually keep track of & take progress pictures of 😅

I keep it directly under my cabinet grow lights & water when the soil starts to pull away from the pot! I usually fertilize every other time I water but that’s pretty much it for this gal ✨ low maintenance & adorable
