We are a student club at MacEwan University that focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset by providing students with opportunities to connect with professionals and further their skills. The MacEwan Entrepreneurship Club (MEC) seeks to connect entrepreneurial-minded students with Edmonton's entrepreneur community to share experiences, best practices and further build the entrepreneurial cul

ture at MacEwan University. Fundamental activities of MEC include networking events, competitions and fun interactions with Edmonton's entrepreneur community. Their first event "Liquid Network Night," in partnership with SAMU was a huge success, attracting over 80 students to engage with 10 of Edmonton's hottest entrepreneurs in a series of short round-table talks. As a result, we can expect high quality events from this group of dedicated individuals who are committed to strengthening MacEwan's position on entrepreneurship.

🎊 UPCOMING EVENT ALERT 🎊

The MEO () and MUCC have collaborated to bring you the first virtual speaker series of the semester, “Entrepreneurs Through Adversity.” This event aims to celebrate resilience while overcoming obstacles brought on by the pandemic.

The theme “Entrepreneurs Through Adversity” will present a platform for local businesses and entrepreneurs to speak about the challenges they overcame during the pandemic. Students will have the opportunity to connect and learn from entrepreneurs from the Edmonton area.
