Athabasca University Students' Union (AUSU) AUSU - Serving the undergraduate students of Athabasca University since 1992. If you are an undergraduate student at AU, you are also an AUSU member.

The Athabasca University Students' Union exists to serve the undergraduate students of AU, and was the very first Students’ Union in the world devoted to serving the needs of distance education students. Your AUSU membership begins on the start date of your course and ends when the contract date arrives or the final grade is entered, whichever comes first. If you purchase a course extension, we extend your AUSU membership for free.

Support Indigenous Student Success Across Canada!

CASA’s e-petition (E-7431), initiated by the National Indigenous Advocacy Committee, is now officially live on the House of Commons website.

The petition proposes:
• Increased and more stable funding for Indigenous post-secondary education programs
• Permanent funding increases instead of temporary measures
• ⁠Funding levels that reflect inflation and rising education costs
• Expanded access to post-secondary education opportunities for Indigenous learners

Petition closes on June 19, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. (EDT)
