Delta Gamma is inviting you to participate in Anchor Splash 2025!

Anchor Splash is our annual philanthropy event that Beta Beta has hosted since 1984. This year, we are raising funds for the Delta Gamma Foundation in support of our international philanthropy, Service for Sight.

This event will be taking place on March 23rd and 24th! Teams are composed of 4+ participants and anyone is welcome to make a team! Expect friendly competitions, educational opportunities, and lots of fun!

“I joined DG because of how goal-oriented and amazing all of the girls are! “I chose to join DG because they are the girls that I’ve felt comfortable with since day one. As soon as a met the women from Delta Gamma I knew that we would always have something to talk about, whether it is our shared values or just enjoying what the UofA has to offer. They are some of the most beautiful people that I have ever met; they help me be more involved with my community and encourage me to get out of my comfort zone.”

“I wanted to join a sorority to make friends and meet people outside of my program! I also wanted to have a life outside of classes and the library. I thought DG was a good fit because I met so many other lovely girls in STEM during recruitment who had similar goals and aspirations to me!”

“Sophie brings so much light to chapter. She is a loyal friend and a loving sister. Her big big smile can light up the darkest room, and her sweet and gentle voice is like music to the ears. Her dedication and creativity is an inspiration to the chapter. Her efforts do not go unnoticed, and for that she is sister of the week.

Sophie, from the moment I met you, I knew that you are a DG. Thank you for all the ways you have been there for me and for chapter. I admire your kindness, sincerity, and crazy sense of humor! My life and the chapter is so much richer because of you. Chapter is so lucky to have you, and I am so incredibly blessed to be your big!”

Athena Feraco 🥺💖✨

Here’s what her big, Sarah has to say:
“Athena is member of the week for her passion for the fraternity and her sisters. As her big sister, I can tell you about how often she thinks about ways to improve as an officer, but more importantly as a friend. Athena prides herself on being a true friend for anyone who needs it and loves to lend a helping hand (especially when it involves making cookies 👩🏻‍🍳🍪). Athena’s second favourite past time is “hype-woman.” Whether it’s in sunshines (complimentary notes we send to sisters) or during a photo shoot - Athena will count the ways of your beauty to make sure you know it.
Although she’s just begun, Athena already shows her passion as VP Panhellenic through her detailed presentations to chapter and reports on Council.

Even if these seem like small gestures, know that Athena does anything but small actions. When she bakes cookies, it’s 100s; when she wants to tell you she likes your outfit, she’ll profess it to all of chapter; and when she has a presentation she memorizes it front backwards and sideways. With her around there is hardly a dull moment.

Congratulations Athena! You are just what I think of when I think of what it means to be a passionate Delta Gamma!”
