Throwback to our epic campus community day trip to the Canadian Badlands this past Saturday! We traded the UAlberta labs and classrooms for the world-class fossils at the Royal Tyrrell Museum and took in the breathtaking, otherworldly views at Horsethief Canyon.

Last week, we swapped our screens for the scenery and took a much-needed breather in Edmonton’s beautiful River Valley! 🚶‍♂️🍃

We spent the afternoon soaking in the fresh air, wandering the trails, and catching up with friends. The absolute highlight? Ending our nature walk at Henrietta Muir Edwards Park and George F. Hustler Memorial Plaza just in time to see the crabapple trees in full, breathtaking bloom. 😍🌸 Talk about the perfect mental health reset!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to walk, talk, and recharge with us.

This week for Wellness Wednesday, we’re headed back inside for our extra large pizza party social mixer. 🍕🍕 Meet students, faculty, and researchers from across the world. Make global connections that last a lifetime.

Our latest Wellness Wednesday was a total dream! ☕️ We spent the afternoon wandering through Old Strathcona for our Whyte Ave Cafe Crawl, and it was the perfect reminder that wellness is all about romanticizing your life and treating yourself to the local flavors that make Edmonton so iconic.

We stayed perfectly caffeinated with some artisanal espresso at PACT Coffee and Block 1912, and finished the day on a high note with some incredible handcrafted ice cream at Yelo’d. 🍦 It wasn’t just about the treats, though—it was so refreshing to get some steps in while exploring the historic centre of Old Strathcona.

A huge thank you to the local shops that hosted us and to everyone who joined the crew. If you missed this one, don’t worry! We do this every week to help break up the mid-week slump. Keep an eye on our stories for details on our next adventure. ✨
