Introducing our Winter 2019 conductor, Dr. Adam Robertson!
Adam Robertson holds the degrees of Doctor of Music and Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Alberta as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Lethbridge. He is in demand throughout Alberta as both a choral and vocal clinician and adjudicator, and remains active as a choral singer as well as conductor. He has sung in numerous honour choirs both provincially and nationally, including the National Youth Choir in 2004. Previously, Adam has directed Lethbridge’s Cantare Girls Choir and Avanti Women’s Ensemble, Sherwood Park’s Festival Singers, and has served as the assistant director for Edmonton’s Da Camera Singers. Dr. Robertson is currently a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta, director of the University of Alberta Concert Choir, co- director of the Edmonton Children’s Choir, and has served as the Assistant Conductor for the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus since 2006.
