What does the full-time CAEC preparation program at Careers in Transition actually look like?

The program runs 20 weeks, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, fully online. Local Edmonton-area instructors deliver live guided instruction covering all CAEC subject areas including mathematics, English language arts, science, and social studies. Students attend from wherever they are most comfortable — the program is designed for real adults with real lives.

The goal of the full-time program is CAEC exam success. By the end of 20 weeks, students have covered all the material they need to write their Canadian Adult Education Credential examinations with confidence. Our instructors are available to answer questions, adjust their teaching approach, and support every learner through the challenging parts.

Funding options may be available for eligible Edmonton and Alberta adults. The next intake is July 13 through November 27. Reach out today to ask about registration and funding.

Cost is one of the most common concerns adults bring to us when they are considering the full-time CAEC program — and it is one we take seriously. That is why we encourage every interested student to ask about funding options before assuming it is not possible.

Funding support may be available for eligible Edmonton and Alberta adults enrolling in our 20-week CAEC preparation program. We work with students to explore what options exist for their specific situation. Many students are genuinely surprised by the support that is available to them.

Careers in Transition has helped adult learners across the greater Edmonton area access the Canadian Adult Education Credential regardless of their financial situation. Our goal is to remove barriers — not add them. If cost has been the reason you have delayed your CAEC preparation, that conversation is worth having.

Reach out this week. Our July 13 intake is approaching, and we want to make sure cost is not what stands between you and a credential that changes your future.

Many adults are surprised by how quickly things click when someone takes the time to explain it the right way.

What makes the Careers in Transition full-time CAEC program different? It starts with the instructors.
Our teachers are local Edmonton-area educators who know the Canadian Adult Education Credential curriculum deeply and understand the experience of adults returning to education. They are not reading from a generic script. They are teaching — adapting, responding, answering questions, and genuinely invested in your progress through all 20 weeks.

The fully online format means you get all of that support from wherever you are most comfortable — home, a library, a family member's place. But make no mistake: you are not studying alone. Our instructors are present, engaged, and there for you every session.

The next intake is July 13. Edmonton and Alberta adults who want structured, expert-led CAEC preparation with real human support at every step — this is the program. Funding options may be available.

Sometimes life takes a turn you did not plan for. School ended earlier than it should have. Things got complicated. Circumstances got in the way. Whatever happened, it does not have to define where you are going.

The CAEC is more than a high school equivalency diploma. It is the recognition of your commitment to moving forward. Post-secondary programs, skilled employment, professional certifications, and career advancement in Alberta all open up when you have this credential in hand.

Adults across Edmonton have earned their CAEC through Careers in Transition and described it as one of the most meaningful things they have ever accomplished — not because it was easy, but because it was theirs.

Careers in Transition is here for every part of that journey. From the moment you consider starting to the day you receive your credential, we walk alongside you. That is not a marketing line. It is how we operate.

Our Edmonton-based team has supported adult learners from every background — newcomers to Canada, adults returning to education after decades away, parents, workers, and people who simply reached a point where they were ready for more. The one thing they all have in common is that they started.

Careers in Transition provides a genuinely welcoming, judgment-free environment for CAEC preparation and testing in Edmonton, Alberta. Whatever your starting point, we are here for it.

One of the most common reasons adults in Edmonton put off their CAEC preparation is schedule conflicts. Work. Family. Commuting. Life. We built our full-time program around that reality.

Our 20-week guided CAEC program is entirely online, which means you attend live instruction from your kitchen table, your living room, or wherever you have an internet connection. No commute. No childcare arrangements for a class downtown. Just show up at your computer at 9:00 AM and let our local Edmonton instructors bring the learning to you.

Adults across the greater Edmonton area have completed our full-time CAEC program while managing careers, raising families, and navigating everything life throws at them. The online format provides the flexibility you need without sacrificing the structured guidance that makes the difference on exam day.
The July 13 intake is approaching. If schedule flexibility has been the thing holding you back from your Canadian Adult Education Credential, we have removed that barrier. Reach out today.
