From the illustrated octopus logo and monogram mark to gift cards, coasters, a dinner menu, cocktail menu, and a full storefront mockup, every touchpoint of this seafood restaurant brand is cohesive, polished, and ready for the real world. The navy and gold palette, the nautical typography, and the hand tied tradition tagline all come together into something that feels genuinely alive. 🙌

Join us for a live Look Development class with Pixel Blue's own Joe Raffa, where he will walk through how lighting, composition, materials, shaders, and visual intent come together to make 3D work genuinely stand out. ✨

🚀 This is a hands-on, practical demonstration built around an artist's mindset — not just technical steps. You will see how creative decisions shape a scene into something cinematic, believable, and portfolio-worthy.

As an added bonus, there will be 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 🍕 and every attendee will be entered to 𝗪𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂 𝟯𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 🎁!

📢 Exciting news! We’re proud to share that Pixel Blue College is continuing as an official 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 (ATC)! Pixel Blue is one of only two ATCs in all of Canada and the only one in Western Canada!

This prestigious designation reflects our commitment to delivering industry-leading education in 2D Animation, using the world’s top animation software — Harmony and Storyboard Pro. 🏆

As an ATC, our students train with the latest techniques and best practices used in television, film, gaming, and advertising. Every 2D Animation & Illustration student will also complete the Toon Boom certification exam as part of their program — a valuable credential that studios recognize (and sometimes require!) when hiring.

𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗡𝗜 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 // 💡A behind the scenes look at recent Graphic Design & Photography students, Wendy and Cole, pitching their brand concepts for a new monthly giving program for YESS .

From concept development to client presentation, the two explored the program's name, tagline, visual identity, campaign materials, and how the brand could carry across donor communications and their website. Responding to client briefs, explaining the thinking behind their design decisions, and presenting their work professionally is exactly the kind of industry experience our students are ready for upon graduating. 🙌
