AI is changing the landscape of technology and business at a remarkable rate. Dr. Michael Ferber, Dean of the Leder School of Business, explores this shift in his new book Isaiah: The Oracle of the Machine.

The book explores the idea that AI is humanity's newest "idol," and takes a deeper look into the ecological, societal, and economic consequences of AI. It's also a collaboration between Ferber (under the pseudonym Ekim the Prompter) and isAIh, a trained AI model. The result is an unsettling but thought-provoking dialogue that challenges us to engage AI with wisdom and critical concern for the very real problems AI poses in the world.

📘 Climate of Grief: Reflections on Ecological Grief is a new publication by Dr. Philip Mingay, Professor of English, and Dr. Michael Ferber, Dean of the Leder School of Business.


Through poetry and essays from 22 contributors across disciplines and countries, this anthology explores climate change not just as an environmental crisis, but as a human experience. Rooted in honesty, lament, and hope, the collection invites readers to see grief not as surrender, but as a catalyst for courageous action.
