Topic: Cryptography at a Crossroads: What Quantum Change Means for Canadian Business

This session explores how standards help people, organisations, and technologies work together and why those same principles are becoming increasingly important as advances in quantum computing drive one of the most significant cryptographic transitions in decades.
With more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology delivery, and technical leadership, Nicholas works with government, critical infrastructure operators, industry partners, and international standards organisations to advance secure and interoperable cryptographic practices.
Through collaboration with partners across Canada and internationally, Nick helps ensure that cryptographic standards, guidance, and implementation practices continue to evolve alongside changes in technology, computing, and cybersecurity threats.
