Concordia University of Edmonton has played an important role in Alberta’s educational history since 1921. In 1987, Concordia began to awarding undergraduate degrees in the arts and sciences. Today, Concordia’s undergraduate (Bachelor) degree offerings include over 45 majors and minors in the fields of Arts, Science and Management. These degree may be augmented through several graduate certificate and diplomas which are offered by Concordia in high demand areas.

We are happy to share a significant milestone in the evolution of CUE. If you have visited or driven past campus recently, you may have noticed that our new CUE visual identity is now firmly in place with updated signage on the Ralph King building, the front lawn and other locations around campus!

For over a century, Concordia University of Edmonton has been a place where people build connections through shared knowledge and community. As our university continues to grow, it is vital that our brand reflects who we are today and where we are going tomorrow.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s President’s Fundraising Breakfast for Mental Health, held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, raised over $70,000 for the Shaughn O’Brien Mental Health Fund!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and community partners, hundreds of CUE students will have access to immediate, barrier-free counselling, peer support, and wellness programs.

“You need dedication, you need to just show up everyday and keep doing what you’re doing. It takes continuity and things don’t always happen very quickly in research.”

Madeline Wong is a Bachelor of Science student like no other.

So far she has received the NSERC USRA award, the CUE Student Research Grant, and the CUE Student Travel Award.
During this past Winter 2026 term she won Best Poster Presentation Award, Canadian Society for Immunology (CSI) National Conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
