We are saying bye, bye, bye to Co-Op Work Permits! 👋 As of April 1, 2026, study permit holders no longer need a separate a Co-Op Work Permit to participate in their program's work integrated learning (WIL). HOWEVER, you still must meet all of IRCC's eligibility criteria to participate:
📄 Have a letter from NAIT confirming that WIL is a requirement of your program
✅ Have a condition on your study permit authorizing you to work on campus
📚 Be a full-time student
🌓 WIL cannot make up more than 50% of your study program
