A one-year Bible College that disciples students to know God and live for Him.

Mount Carmel Bible College is a one year discipleship college in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. Combining college-level Bible courses with weekly volunteer work and regular ministry trips, Mount Carmel creates a unique, close-knit Christian community that encourages and supports personal transformation. At a total cost of $6500, our program includes local missions, retreats, and service as well as

travel and adventure–students spend over a month together on the road. Ultimately our mission is to “disciple willing Christians to a deeper, more passionate commitment to God and others; expressed through increasing knowledge, love, and service”.

Day ☝️

Today we got to meet the class of 2026-27!

It’s really exciting to meet a room full of young people who have chosen to dedicate the next eight months to studying the Bible, serving others and living in community (and are so excited to do so!).

Hey! We’ve been a little quiet on here, but we’ve been busy prepping for the school year! As part of that, we’re excited to have two enthusiastic interns join us this year.

We’ll let them introduce themselves! ➡️➡️➡️

For the coming year, we are excited to welcome Rebekah Gurnett (Sr.) to the team! Although she is a familiar face, from attending Carmel in 2021 to being involved in the random event nights. She is excited to step into this new role and disciple young adults. Bekah looks forward to walking alongside this year’s class, encouraging them in their faith and growing with them.

This is Liam he stands at 6 feet tall wearing 3 inch soles, he’s always up for adventure. Liam attended Carmel in 2021 and previously interned last year where he once again in a new way felt the impact Carmel had on young adults seeking to pursue Christ which was the main fuel for him coming back this year

Camp team update!! These brave (but likely very exhausted) souls are onto their sixth straight week of camp!

Last week (and pictured above) the teams were at camps Salem Acres Bible Camp and Rehoboth Christian Ministries!

This week they are Bethel Bible Camp for CAYA (Come As You Are) Camp and Agricola Day Camp (which means getting to sleep in their own beds at night!)

Keep these teams in your prayers as they enter their last few weeks of camp. And keep praying for the campers they have encountered as well as the ones they will meet these upcoming weeks!

Can you believe it’s almost August? That means a couple things…

#1: it’s not too late to apply! September is quickly approaching and maybe you’re still on the fence about what next year will look like. We want you to know that it’s not too late to take a year to learn about God, grow your faith and find community!

#2: it’s not too late but… late fees are applying soon! So finish that application! Save yourself some $$ and the headache of procrastination! (Yes… we know you like to procrastinate, but believe us, you’ll thank yourself later🙂)

See you in September. But apply before August!!

A couple groups pics from our teams last week.
Now our teams are into week four of camp! 🌞

This week Hanna’s team is up north at Eagles Nest Ministry Centre and Abi’s team is back near Edmonton at Ross Haven Bible Camp!

Please pray for safe travels, good health and continued energy as they care for another group of camp kids this week!

After a great first week, our camp teams are already at it again! This week our team is split into three- a group at Bethel Bible Camp for Jr. High camp, another group at Pioneer Bible Camp, and the last group at Whispering Pines Bible Camp (along with two of our alumni! Thanks Quinn and Luke!)

Keep them in your prayers as they get to know a whole new group of campers and work alongside other staff!
