UNB Centre for Musical Arts The Centre for Musical Arts (CMA) at the University of New Brunswick is a hub for music-making and learning, offering concerts, classes, and lessons.

CMA also provides a professional development certificate (CMAC) for Arts and Culture professionals. The Centre for Musical Arts (CMA), in concert with CLF offers programs for anyone with a musical interest . From group and private lessons for all ages, to workshops and master classes, you can take your music to the next level in our creative, fun, and friendly atmosphere. There are also opportunit

UNB students: you can take Chorale or Concert Band for credit.

MUS 3005, MUS 3006 and MUS 3007 are each worth one credit hour and carry the experiential learning designation. Most students take all three across their degree, and they count toward the Music Minor, which is open to students in every faculty.

You rehearse one evening a week at Memorial Hall and finish the term with a concert. No audition required for either ensemble.

You will need permission from the Director of Music before registering, so email [email protected] to get that started.

The UNB Chorale and the UNB Concert Band are open to anyone in the Fredericton area who wants to sing or play, alongside UNB and STU students, faculty and staff. Our members range from people performing for decades to people dusting off an instrument for the first time in twenty years.

You rehearse one evening a week, you work through real repertoire, and the term ends with a concert on stage.

Registration is open for the UNB Chorale and the UNB Concert Band.

The Chorale is a non-auditioned chamber choir. The Concert Band is a full wind, brass and percussion ensemble. Both are open to UNB and STU students, faculty, staff and anyone in the community who wants to join us.

No auditions. All levels welcome.

🎶 The UNB Chorale’s spring concert, Musicals and More, is this Monday at 7:30 p.m.!

Spend the evening enjoying a dynamic mix of choral repertoire and musical theatre favourites as the UNB Chorale is joined by special guests, the Fredericton High School Glee Choir.

Led by Illyana Vermeersch and accompanied by HaoJia (Paul) Xuan, the concert brings together collaboration, energy, and expressive choral sound in a performance you won’t want to miss.
