SPAD Frosh 2011-2012

SPAD Frosh 2011-2012 Honours Bachelor of Commerce- Sports Administration The program's distinctiveness is derived from the commerce perspective that is associated with the degree.

Laurentian University's Sports Administration program is very unique in that the degree can be found in only 2 other universities world wide. The degree is far superior than what is offered at the college level and the BA in Sport Management offered by Brock University. Therefore, graduates go on to pursue successful careers in the sporting industry, the business industry, and areas where there ar

e an overlay of the two. For the class which is incoming for the 2011-2012 academic year, there were well over 300 applicants (excluding transfers and mature students). Only 50 students were accepted and the threshold for acceptance was set at a respective 80% high school average. The program is rigorous and demands a lot of work and studying of its students. At the same time, students have a large opportunity for socialization and extra-curricular activities.

Tomorrow is Formal! Buses will be leaving UC Hill at 5:00pm and 5:15pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Pub is NOT open tomorrow night and as such, the buses will now be leaving the Radisson at 11:00pm and 12:00am.

There will be a "toonie toss" tomorrow for a Texas-Mickey of Smirnoff Vodka so be sure to bring plenty of toonies if you want a chance at leaving formal with a t-mick.
