A hearty welcome from the School of Rural and Northern Health. The School’s focus is on building health research capacity within rural and northern communities. The School houses the innovative interdisciplinary Masters and PhD Program in Rural and Northern Health. Our graduate programs haves many unique features and there is ample opportunity for regular interaction with faculty for both applied

health research and academic pursuits. These programs offers, innovative, interdisciplinary, graduate education that supports research in the following areas: Aboriginal health; epidemiology; children’s health; health administration;
health policy; health promotion; health services; environmental health; mental health; occupational health; and population health in vulnerable populations. The programs draw on experienced research faculty from across the health sciences, social sciences, basic sciences, and humanities.
