WELL, the Political Science Society will be holding ELECTIONS to be an executive for the remainder of the W21 semester! The election will take place from February 22nd @ 5pm - February 26th @ 5pm.

1) VP-Finance
The role of the VP-Finance is to attend all meetings, manage the Society’s budget, and send all Financial Reimbursement Request Forms (FRR’s) to the VP-Finance of the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences Student Association. VP-Finance is in charge of all invoices for societal events. The VP-Finance is responsible for creating and maintaining the budget for the Society, which must be voted on and passed during the third week of the fall semester. The VP-Finance is responsible for PDR’s and any request of funds to parties. VP-Finance is responsible for anything relating to holding and keeping monetary funds -i.e. sweater sales or fundraising. The VP-Finance is required to write a letter to the incoming president once elections have occurred to be given to the incoming VP-Finance at the Transition Day.
2) Social Media Coordinator
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating any and all posters, designs, labels, logos etc., as needed by the Society. The Social Media Coordinator is in charge of creating all posts on social media, creating event pages, spreading/sharing posters or other forms of awareness, as well as posting on various platforms for both meetings and events. The Social Media Coordinator will also be responsible for distribution of posters across campus and doing “poster runs” after being approved by the CSA. This may include getting in contact with the Department, CSAHS-CA, and other campus resources or groups, to ensure a broad campus reach.
