Reminder from the OAC Awards office for students in ENVS and EEP majors. Note that ECOL and ERM majors can apply for convocation awards through the Student Financial Services scholarship database.

OAC Convocation Awards – Application Deadline Thursday, April 1st 2021

Good afternoon Class of 2021,
With convocation just around the corner, I wanted to send out a quick reminder to apply for OAC Convocation Awards! There is upwards of $40,000 available to OAC students who are graduating, or have graduated in any term this academic year (i.e. Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Summer 2021).

Applications will be accepted through an online application form. Rather than emailing an individualized application letter per award of interest, you will now only need to submit 1 online application form. No supplementary documents are required.

Please use the following link to access the 2021 Convocation Application Form: uoguel.ph/21convocationapp

Please use the following link to submit a nomination for the William H. Bearss Spirit Award, a $1,000 award in recognition of a students "Aggie" spirit: https://uoguel.ph/bearss21

The deadline to submit an application and/or a nomination is Tuesday, April 1st 11:59 p.m.

Why should you consider getting involved with ESSE? Here’s a message from the ESSE President, Alex:

I love EnviroSci and getting involved in ESSE because it introduced me to a new group of people that have the same passion that I do for our program and all the cool things we get to study! ESSE is made up of a group of wonderful people, and we always have so much fun meeting up and coming up with fun ideas for the ENVS students. We hope to see all of your lovely faces at our events and open meetings this fall! If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email: [email protected]

Check out the weekly newsletter in your U of G email account for more information about how you can get involved.
