Marine Affairs Program - Dalhousie University The Marine Affairs Program seeks to develop outstanding marine management professionals by building on extensive global-to-local marine management networks

MAP works with other educational, governmental, NGO and private sector organizations to promote and conduct timely and relevant interdisciplinary research in a broad array of scholarly topics that is attractive to students and conducted by a team of world-class researchers. Through its worldwide network of faculty, graduates, and associates, the research and expertise developed in the MAP program influences marine policy decisions around the globe.

In the first Coastal Restoration Nunavut (CRN) regional technical report, key concerns identified by residents of Cambridge Bay, Gjoa Haven, Kugaaruk, Kugluktuk, and Taloyoak in the Kitikmeot region were identified as decreasing water levels, erosion, and species change.
