Seeing the Komodo Dragons a few weeks ago in their natural environment in the Leaser Sunda Islands. Distant cousin Douglas Burden took the first film footage of the dragons in 1926 and the dagon attack on his movie star wife inspired Douglas’s friend Merian Cooper to produce the 1933 movie King Kong.
