Saint Mary's University Human Resources Society (SMUHRS) is a student society for those interested in Human Resources. We hope to achieve this through:

*Providing relevant info about HR developments in the field through social media and our website
*Linking HR students to each other and HR professionals through seminars and networking events
*Hosting seminars featuring HR Professionals on topics

of interest to HR students
*Creating a Mentorship program where students will be matched with a professional in the field, to encourage building long-term connections in the field
*Showing students the realities of working in HR – from the perspective of those currently in the field

HR Society meeting on October 28th 2014 at 7:00pm in LA 296.

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce all members to our society and discuss events we plan to have for this upcoming year. We will discuss, membership fees, workshops, and guest speakers. We will also answer any questions or concerns you may have.

If you are graduating soon or looking to gain networking experience, IBM Global Business Services is hosting an information session tonight from 5:30-7:30 in the Unilever Lounge (4th floor Sobey Building).
