Ear to the Ground Research Investments supports research projects with a clear and credible pathway to economic outcomes for Nova Scotia. The program is intended for shorter-term, agile projects that respond to emerging needs and opportunities in the industry.
The E2G program by Research Nova Scotia provides:
• Up to $500,000 per project
• Project durations of 6 to 36 months
• A total funding envelope of $2 million

Mount Saint Vincent University's University Research Ethics Board (UREB) is seeking to add an additional Community Member to its membership. The UREB reviews the ethical acceptability of research involving humans or their data conducted by MSVU faculty, staff, and students.

To be a community member, you must be comfortable reading, writing and speaking English and be willing to learn and apply research ethics standards & best practices to MSVU research among others.

A week left to apply for the first stage to the Nova Scotia Health Research Fund.
Nova Scotia Health Research Fund is an annual competition that provides up to $100,000 a year for experienced researchers and $100,000 over three years for early to mid-career researchers.
An expression of interest stage is required, and only selected applicants are invited to submit full applications.

Food formulation and dietary assessment are core skills in nutrition and food science education. This study by Dr. Luhovyy introduces an innovative, hands-on learning tool that combines the Canadian Nutrient File (CNF) with Microsoft Excel to help undergraduate students accurately calculate nutrition facts and analyze 24-hour dietary recalls.
