After a comprehensive evaluation, Saint Mary’s has reached the decision to discontinue all programming and services affiliated with The Language Centre (TLC), with a planned closure date set for May 1, 2024. Since its inception in 1992, when we welcomed a modest cohort of 12 students, the Language Centre has evolved into a global hub, supporting and embracing students and program participants from diverse corners of the world.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated instructors for imparting their wisdom and knowledge. A special acknowledgment goes to the administrative staff whose unwavering commitment and hard work have played a crucial role in the success of the Language Centre.

Our gratitude also extends to the partner universities and dedicated agents who have collaborated with TLC in creating opportunities for global education. The strong partnerships formed have been instrumental in fostering an environment of cross-cultural exchange and learning.

A special mention is reserved for our Homestay families that graciously opened their homes to students. Your warmth and hospitality have not only provided a comfortable living space but have also contributed significantly to the overall positive experience of our students.

Above all, our deepest appreciation goes to the students who chose the Language Centre for their educational journey. It is you who have made this institution truly extraordinary. While you came here to learn, you also enriched our community by sharing your unique cultures and traditions. Your presence has been the driving force behind the distinctive character of this center.

As we approach the closure, we reflect on the cherished memories and the impact of the Language Centre on all those who have been a part of its legacy. Thank you for being an integral part of this special chapter in our university's history.
