Dear Members and friends:
We are excited to present to you an interactive live Facebook event this Sunday June 28th, 2020 at 2:20pm to 4:00 pm. This event was brought together with the collaboration of various Cretan Associations across Canada and the United States. There will be an interactive presentation on Cretan music and costumes presented by Mr. Antonis Martsakis and moderated by Mr Andreas Batakis , including a question and answer period. We would like to thank everyone involved for all their hard work in bringing you this first event of many.

With the health and safety measures currently being observed, you can now follow weekly church services online!

Once again, the Cretan Association of Hamilton "Arkadi" is proud to host our Annual Cretan Glenti Dinner Dance, featuring Live Musical guests from Crete, Greece!!!! Great food, open bar, prizes and of course....live Cretan music (as well as music from other regions of Greece)...

Come join a presentation hosted by the Cretan's Association of Hamilton Arkadi on Saturday, April 4th, 2020. The location will be at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church hall and starts at 7:00 pm.
Dr. Tristan Carter will do a presentation titled Crete and the Origins of Seafaring: The Island’s Earliest Prehistory and its Global
Significance.
Dr. Carter is an Associate Professor of Archaeology at McMaster University and he is the current director of the Stelida Naxos Archaeological Project. He has also worked at various sites in England and on Crete.
Light refreshments will be provided at the event.

The Ladies of Philoptochos at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church (Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 233 E 15th St, Hamilton, ON L9A 4G1) are hosting a luncheon this Sunday, February 23, immediately following the Divine Liturgy. Our dinner dance is one week away and we couldn't be more excited!!! There are a few tables left....if you haven't already purchased your tickets do so today!!!
