Last call to register for the McMaster 2nd Annual Conference in Hospital Medicine.

Hospital medicine continues to evolve, and this year’s conference is designed to support the clinicians leading that work every day.

Join us Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, 2026, in person at the Delta Hotel Toronto Airport and Conference Centre for a two-day program focused on the changing realities of inpatient care. Plus earn up to 10.25 Mainpro+ Certified Activity credits and 10.25 MOC Section 1 hours.

The conference will feature practical workshops, keynote and plenary talks, breakout sessions, poster presentations, and discussions on topics including artificial intelligence, point-of-care ultrasound, anemia and iron deficiency, diabetes management for inpatients, hip fracture care, bacteremia, atrial fibrillation, peri-operative anticoagulation management, polypharmacy in older adults, inpatient delirium, physician well-being, leadership, innovation, health advocacy, and the future of hospital medicine training.

The program also includes poster viewing and judging, a reception, the ACP Ontario Chapter Town Hall and Award Ceremony, and a closing panel discussion on “Hospital Medicine – What Are We Training For?”

Join colleagues on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, for this hybrid CPD program focused on improving care for older adults through evidence-informed, person-centred, and collaborative approaches. Theme: New Frontiers in Dementia Care.

This year’s program will bring together leading experts in geriatrics, dementia care, brain health, palliative care, and aging research for a full day of clinically relevant learning and discussion. Sessions will explore emerging approaches to Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and treatment, complex dementia assessment, palliative care approaches, apathy in neurocognitive disorders, dementia risk reduction, Indigenous older adult care, and key research updates shaping geriatric medicine.
