Important iBioMed Program Update – Effective Today

In response to evolving academic priorities and enrollment trends, the iBioMed Department is implementing the following changes effective immediately:
- Free Choice will be removed for all incoming cohorts. Academic pathways will now be pre-assigned to better align with departmental capacity and long-term planning.
- Civil iBioMed will now require a quorum to continue operating. If minimum enrollment thresholds are not met by the end of the add/drop period, the stream may be discontinued.
- HESE (Health, Engineering Science, and Entrepreneurship) will be officially cancelled as a standalone stream. Students currently enrolled will be contacted with transition options in the coming weeks.

We understand these changes may come as a surprise and appreciate your patience as we work through this transition. Further details will be shared via official channels soon.

The day has come! Your iBioMed Society has been working hard to make this academic year the best it could be. Now, it is time to prepare for the new academic year, and with a new year comes a new team!

If you are passionate about fun socials, networking events, academic and professional development, advocacy, marketing, and helping with merch next year, this is the time to take action.

You can nominate yourself by reviewing the election information document + filling out the nomination form in bio!

The timeline is as follows:

• Nominations: Close on April 1st

• Campaigning: April 2nd - April 7th

• Campaigning can occur both online and in person during the campaign period.

• Voting: April 8th to April 9th

More information will be provided closer to the date :)
