REMINDER: Starting a new job, opening certain financial accounts, and accessing government services in Canada often requires a Social Insurance Number (SIN). To help newly arrived international students or even returning students obtain their SIN quickly and conveniently, Service Canada will be offering dedicated SIN clinics at QUIC.

On-Campus SIN Clinics

8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

September 3 – QUIC Boardroom
September 4 - QUIC Boardroom
September 8 –QUIC Boardroom

Students should bring their valid passport and study permit when attending the clinic. Obtaining a SIN is free of charge, and students are encouraged to take advantage of these dedicated service dates to avoid longer wait times during the busy arrival period.

Starting a new job, opening certain financial accounts, and accessing government services in Canada often requires a Social Insurance Number (SIN).
