Join us for a cozy fall harvest-inspired evening of cooking, sharing, and connection! QUIC and Residences are bringing international and second-generation students together to celebrate the season of harvest, gratitude, and community through food. We’ll gather for a hands-on experience making a hearty seasonal stew and homemade pumpkin pie—celebrating the warmth, abundance, and comforting flavours of fall—and then enjoy the meal together around a shared table. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just curious to learn, come chop, stir, bake, swap stories, and celebrate the season together in community. Please register at the link in our bio.

Looking for a fun way to get outside, explore Kingston, and enjoy the beautiful fall colours? Join the Fall Walking Challenge!

We’re encouraging international students to discover 10 local businesses throughout Kingston while getting to know the city and experiencing everything fall has to offer.

How it works
Visit the 10 participating local businesses around Kingston.
Explore the area, enjoy the fall scenery, and get familiar with your new city.
Submit your visits/attendance to be entered into a raffle for some great prizes!

Want to walk with others?
Join us at QUIC this Friday (October 9th) at noon and we’ll head out together as a group! It’s a great opportunity to meet other students, explore Kingston, and enjoy the walk together.

International students are invited to participate in Learn 2 Float, an introductory course offered in partnership with the Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC).

Designed for participants of all levels, this low-cost program provides an opportunity to develop essential swimming fundamentals and build confidence in an aquatic environment. Sessions will focus on water safety, submersion, recovery, and floating.

No prerequisites are required!

The program includes 6 one-hour sessions, with a maximum of 18 participants per session. This program is exclusively open to International Students.

Registration opens TOMORROW October 5th! Sessions start October 25th.
