Our Services

The International Programs Office (IPO) coordinates academic exchanges and study abroad experiences that unfold in more than 30 countries worldwide, predominantly for students in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

The IPO facilitates over 100 exchange partnerships with approximately 275 outgoing students and more than 200 incoming students to the Faculty of Arts and Science each academic year. The IPO administers applications from Queen’s students for the Kwansei-Gakuin University Cross-Cultural College and the Semester in Shanghai, and helps promote other study abroad opportunities such as Queen’s University’s Bader International Study Centre in the UK, and departmental programs.

We also offer an International Studies Certificate Program for any interested Queen’s student, coordinate funding for studies abroad, and facilitate independent study abroad through International Letters of Permission.
