Learn more about Heather:
• Heather works with students from all backgrounds to develop their writing, editing, and broader academic skills (e.g., managing procrastination, time management, writer’s block, and getting back on track).
• One of her favourite things is having the chance to help students build a new sense of confidence in their writing and communication skills.
• She enjoys supporting neurodivergent and EAL students, who often face unique challenges navigating expectations within their programs.
• Heather holds a PhD in History and previously worked as an accessibility advisor at the uWaterloo Library, where she helped to advance accessible learning practices.

If you are looking for a quiet space to write, stay accountable, and make progress on your research this summer, join SASS and QUIC for Momentum Mondays.

Spend the day writing alongside other graduate students with access to snacks, coffee, tea, and optional writing workshops designed to support your academic goals.

Join fellow graduate students Mondays in June from 9:00 am to 4:15 pm for:
• dedicated writing time,
• snacks, coffee, tea, and
• a motivating space to focus.

Optional workshops from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm cover practical topics that can enhance your writing right away: structure, topic sentences, academic phrases, and inclusive writing.
