I am very fortunate to be a part of a dance community that put inclusivity and accountability first. As a dancer I have benefited immensely from black culture and I want to celebrate it. I am very excited to be given this opportunity to work with some very passionate dancers that want to so as much as we can to help make a change. With these talented group of dancer we want to bring together the dance community to support the Black Lives Matter movement and want to use this platform for dancers to celebrate Black culture and the immense ways we as dancers have benefited from contributions from the Black community. Dance classes will be by donation and 100% of the proceeds will be donated towards Black Lives Matter Toronto and Black Health Initiative. I hope people will benefit from these classes and use them to continue to educate and stand in solidarity with this movement. - Alex Smith
