Queen's Energy and Commodities Association QECA is a student run association for engineering and commerce students to develop their understanding of resource industries in Canada and abroad.

The Queen’s Energy and Commodities Association was founded in 2007 as an organization to bring engineering and commerce students together to develop their understanding of resource industries in Canada and abroad. Hosting bi-weekly meetings open to all Queen’s University students, QECA provides a holistic understanding of resource industries by analyzing elements of both the engineering involved a

nd the markets at large. The association strives to connect students with industry professionals to form strong relationships that provide ground-level insights from market leaders. QECA currently has a team of 20 analysts covering the Oil and Gas, Metals and Mining, as well as Grains and Agriculture industries.
