🔭 A day to IGNITE your imagination! 🚀 Science Rendezvous Kingston 2026 welcomed more than 4,000 budding scientists and their families to Slush Puppie Place for the 15th annual science festival featuring researchers from across and the local STEM community.

🔬 We hosted 60 booths supported by 500 volunteers for a day full of inspiration, exploration, and discovery. Thank you to all our volunteers and researchers that made it happen!

Principal and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane has announced the appointment of Queen’s alum Kevin Kee as the next dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Kee joins Queen's from the University of Ottawa, where he served as dean of the Faculty of Arts from 2015-25 and as Senior Advisor to the President on Digital Strategy and Learning Innovation.

“I’m delighted to welcome Dr. Kee back to Queen’s as dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science,” says Principal Deane. “He is an accomplished academic leader with a strong record of advancing innovation, research excellence, and student success. His experience leading large and complex academic units, combined with his commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and digital transformation, will serve the faculty and university well as we continue to realize our Bicentennial Vision.” | Queen's University Arts and Science
