Join us on Saturday, July 18, at 12:00 p.m. as Rx2029 takes on Rx2028 at Knollwood Park – B1 Diamond in Kitchener.

Did someone say Beach Day? The annual event is back for Summer 2026! Join SOPhS Social for a fun day at Grand Bend Beach on Saturday July 11th! Transportation will be provided for no fee. Refreshments will be available to all students who sign up, even if you do not take the bus. The bus will leave the School of Pharmacy at 9:00AM and be back by 7:00PM that evening. If you are taking the bus, please indicate so on the sign-up sheet. The sign-up via Google Forms can be found in your cohorts Facebook group, or in the SOPhS Instagram Linktree. There will be a waiver to be signed even if you are not taking the bus, please use the link in the SOPhS Instagram Linktree to sign the waiver! Bring your beach gear and join us for a well-deserved, relaxing day at the beach to enjoy the summer weather!

SOPhS Athletics is hosting its first ever student-led yoga class!

Join us for a relaxing afternoon led by a current PharmD student who is training to become a yoga instructor. Take a break enjoy the nice weather, and unwind with some snacks!

When: Friday, July 10th at 3:30pm
Where: the Courtyard

This event is open to all cohorts. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible since there are only 25 spots available. You’ll receive an email to confirm your spot in the class. The link is in our bio.

SOPHs Athletics is hosting another FREE spin class at Cyclone Spin Studio! Get ready for a great workout and an even better time.
The details:
When: Sunday, July 19th, 2026 at 1:00pm
Where: Cyclone Spin Studio (305 King St. W, Kitchener)
Event Capacity: 32 students
This event is open to all cohorts on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible since there are only 32 bikes available. The link is in our bio.
You’ll receive an email to confirm your spot in the class or your place on the waitlist (the waitlist always moves).
If you reserve a spot but can no longer attend, please cancel at least 48 hours before the class so someone on the waitlist can take your spot. A $12 no-show fee will apply if you fail to attend without cancellation.
We’re looking forward to a fun Sunday afternoon with everyone and can’t wait to ride together.

This Thursday join us in the front lobby from 12-2pm to help yourself to Sweet Lou’s cookies. No sign up is required

Your voice matters, and we’re making it easier to be heard. Join students from across Ontario on March 24 to defend accessible education and tell the province to reverse the cuts. By showing up in numbers, we send a clear and unified message to the provincial government: students will not be silent when their futures are on the line.

🎟️ $10 – UW undergrads
🎟️ $20 – Non-UW undergrads (i.e. grad students, non-UW students)

This rally is organized by an external student group — WUSA is coordinating transportation to help you get there.

📣🏀LET THE MADNESS BEGIN!🏀📣
The 2025 NCAA March Madness basketball tournament tips-off March 17th, and SOPhS Athletics is excited to be hosting our annual bracket challenge! This year the bracket challenge is being done in partnership with the Rx2026 grad ball and entry will cost 5$ as a way to fundraise for the event Brackets will be scored as games are played, and at the end of the tournament and this year we’ll be going bigger with the prizes! Gift cards will be awarded to 1st🥇($100), 2nd🥈($50), and 3rd🥉($30) place brackets, as well as 1 random participant ($20).

Click the link in our bio after Selection Sunday on March 15th to create an account and build your bracket.🔗To be eligible to participate, you must complete your bracket before tipoff of the first game of the tournament on Tuesday, March 17th. Access to the bracket group will be given to individuals once the 5$ participation fee has been sent to [email protected].

SOPhS Social is excited to announce the return of Karaoke Night! Join us on Wednesday, March 18th from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at Revive Game Bar in Waterloo!🎤💫 The event is FREE for all pharmacy students! Sign-up is required to attend the event. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided! Alcoholic beverages will not be provided, but will be available for purchase.

Spots are on a first-come basis and are limited (75 people). SOPhS Social is SO EXCITED to see everyone sing their hearts out!⭐
