Good afternoon, Health Sciences students!

The Interprofessional Resource (IPR) team is happy to announce that the “Remote Learning Support Centre” (RLSC) is now available to provide student support through one on one and group appointments. The RLSC is a virtual version of the Open Access Lab, and is supported by the interprofessional team.

Join us tomorrow for our first ever panel discussion with nursing and respiratory therapy professionals. You can ask more about the services that the RLSC provides, as well as connect with the IPR team and your fellow students. We'd also love to hear your areas of interest for future panels. All Health Sciences students are welcome!

Thank you to all those who attended our first WIHSC event of the 2019-2020 school year! And a special shoutout to the 1st and 2nd year Respiratory Therapists who brought so much knowledge and information to the table.

Our next event will be taking place on Tuesday, November 26th. Keep your eye out for posters around campus and posts here on our page!!

Hey Conestoga!
WIHSC is BACK and we are currently recruiting for the 2019-2020 school year! We are looking for student representatives from any of the Health Science & Community programs and would LOVE to have you on our team!

First event of 2019! Can’t wait to see everyone there! 🤗🎉

The Conestoga Respiratory Therapy Federation (CRTF) is looking for 5 students to attend a Human Anatomy Lab being held by the University of Waterloo.

There will be series of stations set up for students to examine pre-dissected cadavers with each section will be taught by lab specialists. Stations will include the skeletal system, muscular system and joints, digestive system, nervous system, cardiorespiratory sustem and special pathologies.

The date of the event is Tuesday Jan 8th from 2-4 pm and costs $12 per person.
