Our free pancake brunch, for example, helped to "flip" any stresses of the unknown into the excitement of a new start. Welcome new and returning students to our college and our communities.

⚽️ Sunday’s home openers for the Voyageurs women and men’s soccer teams at the Bold Centre sports fields may not have produced wins - but they did produce some great Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference action for sports fans in Lac La Biche County.
⚽️ Cheer on your Voyageurs at their next home game on September 11 when the Lakeland College Rustlers come to town.
The women’s game is at 5 pm and the men play after.

Congratulations to the graduates of the Pathways to Employment program in Saddle Lake!

Portage College was honoured to join Saddle Lake Reinvestment and Training in celebrating this incredible group of graduates. This year marked a special milestone, with the largest graduating class in the program's history.

The hard work, commitment, and determination shown by these learners have brought them to this achievement, and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate alongside them, their families, and their community.

We wish all graduates the very best as they take their next steps toward employment and new opportunities.

College in the Community .... It was a Portage College staff reunion at the annual KidSport Lac La Biche fundraiser hosted by Omar Saleh's Barber Shop on Friday.

Former Portage staffers Dave Phillips, Tom Hannan and Omer Moghrabi happily volunteered their cooking and community time with current Portage College Athletics and Recreation Manager Jim Knight and Portage Vice President Bev Moghrabi to serve up the burgers and smiles.

Proceeds from burger sales, haircuts at Omar's and donated cans and bottles go to helping local kids participate in sports. Your Independent Grocer also helped with the event.
