Excited to share Marina Emerick's new paper in Parkinsonism & Related Disorders!

We found that anodal stimulation of the supplementary motor area (SMA) reduced stride time variability and stride width, while rhythmic music cueing increased walking speed and cadence in people with Parkinson’s disease. The two interventions affected distinct aspects of gait, suggesting complementary mechanisms and potential for future combined rehabilitation approaches.
