We’re excited to welcome April-Dawn as the new Director of Western Continuing Studies.

With more than 20 years of experience across post-secondary, continuing and executive education, April-Dawn brings a wealth of experience and a passion for creating learning opportunities. Opportunities for continuing studies to help people build skills and accelerate their careers as well as support teams and organizations to grow and adapt for today and the future.

As she begins her journey at Western, she’s looking forward to meeting our learners, instructors, staff and partners, listening to their experiences and learning more about what makes our community special and how Western Continuing Studies can contribute to shared successes.

How to become a Project Manager in 5 steps.

Step 1:
Build foundational project management knowledge. Take a course like Project Management Essentials.

Step 2:
Develop practical skills like planning, scheduling, budgeting, and communication. We recommend our course, Project Management.

Step 3:
Gain experience managing projects. In your current role or through dedicated project work.

Step 4:
Earn a project management credential. A certificate or professional certification is proof of your skills. We offer a Professional Certificate in Project Management

Step 5:
