Dear First Year Students,
Now that you've sampled a range of subject areas at Western, it's time to formally select your degree/program/module(s) for next year. Western calls this process “Intent to Register” or “ITR”.
If you do not submit your Intent to Register by March 30, 2012 at 4:00 pm:
• You will miss being reviewed for Limited Enrollment Programs like MIT and MPI
• You will forfeit priority course registration for September 2012
The Online ITR process is NOT available for students applying for Year 2 MIT or MPI.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do I submit my Intent to Register for MIT or MPI?
If you are eligible (have met the minimum admission requirements to-date) and would like to apply to MIT or MPI, you must SIGN UP for and ATTEND one information session. At the session, you will receive an ITR form that must be completed and submitted by March 30, 2012 at 4:00 pm.
Login to CareerCentral and sign up for one of the FIMS information sessions entitled “MIT First Year - Intent to Register” (or MPI if that is your interest) listed under EVENTS. https://careercentral.uwo.ca/secure/events/
Space is limited in each session, so please sign up early to get a space in a session that works with your schedule.
Can I get a copy of the ITR form without attending a session?
No. Attendance is mandatory and part of the application process. No ITR forms will be available outside of the sessions.
*Please note, if you arrive late to the presentation, you will not be allowed entry, nor will you receive an ITR from. You will be required to sign up for another session at a later date.*
