Out late after a party? If calling your family feels difficult, there are other people and options you can turn to for a safe ride.

A trusted relative, older sibling, friend’s parent, elder, caregiver, or another adult you feel comfortable with may be able to help. You could also stay overnight at a trusted friend’s or relative’s place, or use a taxi or rideshare if one is available.

If you’ve used cannabis, don’t drive or get in a car with someone who’s high. Make a safe plan before you go out.
