THETA AIRBANDS FALL 2022 💿🦋💗

This past November we hosted our Annual Theta Airbands philanthropy event in support of Court Appointed Special Advocates For Children (CASA), a national association in the United States that supports and promotes court-appointed representation for abused and neglected children. This Airbands raised over $5,000, with Theta donating just under $10,000 to CASA in 2022 alone!!! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported such a special cause.

Huge congratulations to 💜 for taking home first place for this years boyband themed event! You guys did incredible!

💛 Introducing Kappa Alpha Theta’s Vice-President of Finance:

Hey guys! My name is Victoria Ufholz and I am the Vice-President of Finance at Kappa Alpha Theta. I’m a third year BMOS student and I joined Theta in the second semester of my 1st year.

I became a part of the wonderful sisterhood that Gamma Epsilon fosters in the Winter of 2021. Theta has played such a huge role in my individual development and has allowed me to build some amazing relationships with leading women to whom I look up to.

As Vice-President of Finance I enjoy the challenge of creating an efficient budget and allocating money to all program areas in the organization. I also bill and collect dues, pay invoices and bills, manage leases and rent as well as sit on our facility’s corporation board. I work closely with the finance assistant, my finance committees and the facility management director which has allowed me to develop my leadership and teamwork abilities. I’m always more than happy to answer any and all finance questions and continue to support my sisters with their financial obligations!

This organization has given me countless opportunities and I am so grateful to be able to call Theta home! TLAM, love Vic

🤎Introducing Kappa Alpha Theta’s Vice President Operations:

Hi Everyone! I’m Amanda and I’m serving as the Vice President Operations for the 2022 year. I am currently in my fourth year completing an honours double major in French for Teaching and Sociology at Brescia.

I joined Theta in my second year of university and I couldn’t imagine my life without it!

Through my role I oversee all operations that occur in chapter. I also chair the membership development committee,the Risk prevention team, and so much more!

I love my role because it has allowed me to get to know my sisters on a deeper level. Since obtaining my role I have been able to see and be a part of the growth of our chapter.

My goal for this year has been to continue to strengthen our sisterhood and ensure that every member has a memorable and enjoyable year in Theta.

Being VPO has taught me so many incredible new skills that apply to many aspects outside of chapter. I am constantly working with the girls in Theta and learning how to deal with an array of situations.

I am so grateful for my sisters for trusting me with this position and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!

🤍 Introducing Kappa Alpha Theta’s Vice President & President of the Panhellenic Council:

Hey!! My name is Ivania Salmeron and I am Kappa Alpha Theta’s Vice President Panhellenic and the President of the Panhellenic Council! I am currently in my 4th year doing a Honours Specialization in Psychology

My role on Panhel is to represent Theta on the council and to also represent all 5 sororities that are part of the Panhellenic community.

I joined theta in my first year because I found university to be really intimidating and also wanted to get involved in campus life. Theta has given me the necessary tools I needed to build up my leadership and has also helped me in obtain other extra curriculars’ outside of theta!

In my role, I am working with Western Administration to begin the process of incorporating the Greek Community back into campus and also working with the school to provide effective Gender-Based Sexual Violence prevention training for all students part of the Greek scene.

Overall, so beyond excited to be in my role and so grateful for the opportunities theta has given me💗
