Our Audio Recording Technology program trains students for careers in Music Production, Live Sound, Sound for Film/TV, Sound Design for Video Games, and Manufacturing Sales & Service in the audio industry. OIART's Career Placement Assistance results in 80-90% of our graduates starting their careers in this industry within 6 months of graduating.

Every job that was done on the day was done by a student. From the load in to the lighting and audio as well as a live stream that you can watch on our YouTube channel!

We had Westminster Secondary School come by the OIART studios to have some fun with audio!

In studio 2 we had an autotune audio recording session where the students had a chance to see what it’s like to track using autotune live!

In studio 5 we showed the students some Foley recording techniques and how to use them in an edit!
