Exchange Partner Highlight – EBS Law School, Germany –
Exclusively made for our international students, the EBS Law Term has an academic focus on Transnational Commercial Law. The overall aim of the program is to provide students with an overview of the most essential concepts, methods and general problems of Transnational Commercial Law as well as an introduction to a selection of essential instruments of Transnational Commercial Law. EBS Law Term takes place at the modern EBS Law School campus in Wiesbaden. It is conveniently located minutes from the Wiesbaden Central train station and a short walk from Wiesbaden city center. EBS Law School has easy access to everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

“EBS is in a beautiful location, in German wine country right on the Rhine, so it was really nice to explore that area. The staff at the school was also so helpful and very available to us. The program is entirely English-speaking international students from all over the world, so we had classmates from Spain, France, Norway, Singapore, Macau, etc. It was a really interesting group of people. There were also other students from Canadian law schools. The layout of the program - intensive courses that complete in a week or two, as opposed to courses that run all semester - allowed us to travel a lot. Most of us used our breaks to have friends or family come visit, and travel all around Europe. It was a great experience, and I would recommend EBS to any Western Law student considering exchange!“ Ali Marshall, Fall 2025 exchange student at EBS Universität

Exchange Partner Highlight – National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore –
National University of Singapore (NUS) is consistently ranked in the top 30 universities around the world and among the top three universities in Asia by Times Higher Education World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings. NUS has over 37,000 full time students from 100 countries and approximately another 1,900 exchange students from more than 300 partner universities. NUS is located in Singapore, often referred to as the cosmopolitan garden city. The city has approximately 5.4 million people and is predominately English speaking.

“On exchange I was able to take a variety of courses that exposed me to the legal system in Singapore as well as in other parts of Asia. On a personal level, I was able to learn from other students from different countries and expand my social network. I also feel that being so far away from home I was able to enhance my independence and problem-solving skills as I had to rely on myself much more than at home surrounded by my friends and family. I am very fortunate that I was afforded the opportunity to go on exchange, an experience that will be invaluable for my future both with respect to my career and personal growth. “ Tyler, Winter 2025 exchange student at NUS

Exchange Partner Highlight – University of New South Wales (UNSW) – Australia

Located on the south-east coast, Sydney is the gateway to Australia and home to over 4.6 million people. The University of New South Wales (UNSW) School of Law leads Australia in progressive and rigorous legal education and research and has 3,028 students. Ranked in the top 30 law schools globally, UNSW Law attracts students from over 130 different countries.

“My exchange experience has been extraordinary—while some aspects feel familiar, like attending classes and everyone speaking English, it’s filled with unique moments, from concerts at the Sydney Opera House to trips to the Great Barrier Reef. The highlight of my experience came through embracing the Sydney lifestyle - I took up surfing. Now I hit the water and catch a few waves every morning before class. Studying here has also allowed me to explore legal topics not offered at Western, broadening my understanding of various legal fields. I would absolutely recommend an exchange to others who are looking for the opportunity to try new things and explore the world before diving into their legal careers. “ Tiana, Fall 2024 exchange student at NUS
