🦃🍂 HAPPY THANKSGIVING LONG WEEKEND FROM CONFEDERATION COLLEGE NORTHSHORE CAMPUS! 🍂🦃

Wishing all our amazing students, staff, and the entire Northshore community a happy Thanksgiving filled with good food, great company, and plenty of reasons to be thankful! 🧡

We’ve flipped the script at Northshore Campus this year… instead of being cooked, this bird is doing the cooking! 😂🔥🦃 Looks like someone’s taking Thanksgiving into their own wings!

Enjoy the long weekend, take some time to relax and recharge, and make room for a little extra turkey (or pie 😉).

From our Northshore family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡🍁

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation | September 30

Today, Confederation College Northshore Campus recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is a time to listen, learn, reflect, and remember the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, their families, and communities who continue to carry the impacts of this history.

We honour the strength and resilience of Indigenous Peoples and recognize the importance of continuing the work of reconciliation through education, understanding, respect, and meaningful action.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

🚜 Learning by doing! 🚜

Our Heavy Equipment Training students are out in the field gaining valuable, hands-on experience with the support of LTL, Biigtigong Dbenjgan, MKWA and Cress Contracting.

Students are getting practical training on Dozers, Loaders, Graders and Rock Trucks — building the skills and experience needed to pursue careers as skilled equipment operators.

This training is helping respond to the growing need for skilled workers across our region and preparing students for the opportunities ahead as our communities and industries continue to grow. 💪

A huge thank you to our industry and community partners for supporting hands-on learning and investing in the next generation of skilled equipment operators!

More pictures to come!
