We were honoured to welcome Bill Lashley to Brampton campus for a special guest talk with our Paralegal and Police Foundations students.

Bill is a retired veteran of the Toronto Police Service and Durham Regional Police Service, a licensed paralegal, and a law enforcement professional with more than three decades of experience. During his visit, he shared valuable insights from his career, including his extensive scope of work.

Opportunities like this give our students the chance to learn directly from experienced professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the legal and law enforcement fields they are preparing to enter.

Our Early Childhood Education students recently took part in a reflection activity focused on affirmations and the role they can play in supporting children’s mental health and emotional well-being.

Students created affirmation signs that reflect their values and the positive messages they hope to bring into early learning environments. The activity encouraged creativity, self-reflection, and emotional awareness while connecting classroom learning to real-life practice.

Celebrating our recent Accounting and Payroll graduates from triOS Online! 🎓

Congratulations to Jenna Catton (pictured), Hussein Al Khafaji, Abdullah Al Khafaji, and Harmandeep Kaur on this exciting achievement.

Hussein shared that his time at triOS College was “a great learning experience” that helped him build practical skills in accounting and payroll, while Abdullah shared that he gained “strong knowledge” and feels more confident starting his career in the field.

“Your starting point doesn’t define your ceiling. Your willingness to learn and adapt does.”

For Joshua, moving to Toronto from a small town in Quebec to return to school was a defining leap of faith.

As a System Administrator student at triOS College, his journey into the technology sector began with an internship at Jolera, where he gained his first real-world experience and later received a full-time offer after graduation.

He started as a Level 1 Technician, building the technical agility, problem-solving skills, and client service experience that would shape his career. By staying curious and embracing the evolving tech industry, he continued to grow through technical, operational, and strategic roles.

Today, Joshua is a Channel Program Director, bringing a 360-degree view of the IT ecosystem to his work.

His journey is a reminder that growth in tech starts with the courage to begin, and the commitment to keep learning.
