Matrimonial Advice and Guidance
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE PRETTIER THAN YOUR WIFE OR RICHER THAN YOUR HUSBAND.
That is why Islam never taught us to marry only for beauty, status, or money.
Beauty fades with time. Wealth comes and goes. But a sincere soul, good character, loyalty, mercy, patience, and love for Allah are the things that keep two hearts together for a lifetime.
Many people enter marriage because of attraction, luxury, or what the world sees on the outside. But after some years, when beauty changes and hardships arrive, only character remains. Only loyalty remains. Only the fear of Allah remains.
A righteous spouse is one who stays when life becomes difficult. One who still respects you during arguments. One who makes dua for you in silence. One who reminds you of Allah when your heart becomes weak. One who chooses loyalty even when the world offers temptations.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us the importance of choosing a spouse with Deen and good character, because a marriage built upon Iman survives the storms of life. A person who truly fears Allah will protect your heart even when you are not watching.
The world has made people obsessed with appearances, followers, money, and perfection. But Islam teaches us something more beautiful:
Marry the soul.
Marry the heart.
Marry the person whose character brings peace to your life and whose love brings you closer to Jannah.
A beautiful face may attract you for a moment, but a beautiful soul comforts you for a lifetime.
May Allah bless us with spouses who are loyal in private, soft in speech, sincere in love, patient in hardship, and firm upon Deen. May every marriage be filled with mercy, Barakah, understanding, and halal love that leads both hearts toward Jannah. Ameen.
