Many skeptics believe that faith is nothing more than blind belief, and some Christians agree with them!

Our final segment of "The Bible Contradicted?" (our weekly mentoring group at Crandall University) is "Leaving Your Brains at the Church Door," wherein we'll be discussing whether all the Bible gives contradictory teachings about whether faith is blind belief or reasonable trust.

Does Jesus rebuke Thomas for demanding evidence for the resurrection? Does Paul condemn the intellectual disciplines of philosophy and science? Does the author of Hebrews define faith as a blind belief when he says faith is the conviction of what is "not seen"?

If you're a Crandall University student, staff, or faculty member, then be sure to join us this morning at 11:30 AM in SH218 to find out if the Bible really is as full of contradictions as its critics claim it is!

For one night only, we'll be hosting a special "Ask an Apologist" open Q&A session with our Chapter Director, Cody J. Guitard, wherein students will be given the opportunity to ask him any questions they want on any evangelism- or apologetics-related topics!

If you're a Crandall University student, staff, or faculty member, be sure to join us this evening at 6:00 PM in SH212 for what is sure to be a great time of discussion about sharing and defending the Christian faith!

Is Heaven simply a disembodied existence floating around in the clouds, or will it be more physical than what many of us might think?

This week's segment of "The Bible Contradicted?" (our weekly mentoring group at Crandall University) is "Heaven Is for Real," wherein we'll be discussing whether all the Bible gives contradictory teachings about the nature of Heaven, the eternal home of God, angels, and the redeemed.

Is Heaven somewhere in the clouds, since that's where Jesus went, or is it another place altogether? Are Heaven present inhabitants disembodied spirits in an entirely non-physical realm, or do they have physical bodies in an at least *partly* physical realm? Does the destruction of the physical universe in the end suggest that the new heavens and new earth will be somehow non-physical, or will the new universe be just as physical as the first?

If you're a Crandall University student, staff, or faculty member, then be sure to join us this morning at 11:30 AM in SH218 to find out if the Bible really is as full of contradictions as its critics claim it is!

Join us this evening for our last Prof Talk interview of the year! This month's topic is "Another Bible?" and will feature an interview followed by an open discussion with Dr. Andrew Keenan.

Why do some skeptics claim that the New Testament writers were using a different Old Testament than we have in our Bibles today? Did the New Testament writers actually reject the original Hebrew Bible in favour of a more recent Greek Bible? How does all of this affect our ability to study and understand Scripture, especially as an allegedly consistent whole?

This event is free to attend, open to everyone, and runs from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM on Thursday, March 26 in SH212 at Crandall University (333 Gorge Road).

Bring your questions and join the conversation!

What if you could live forever? Well, the Bible says we can! Only, skeptics think the biblical writers are less than consistent about what, exactly, this means!

This week's segment of "The Bible Contradicted?" (our weekly mentoring group at Crandall University) is "The First Day of Forever," wherein we'll be discussing whether all the Bible gives contradictory teachings about the nature of the resurrection body.

What do the biblical writers mean when they say that the dead will be raised? Was Jesus' resurrect body of a physical nature, or was it a non-physical, disembodied spirit? How does this compare to what the biblical writers envision our *own* future resurrection bodies to be? Is the Bible hopelessly confused about whether we'll have the same bodies we do now?

If you're a Crandall University student, staff, or faculty member, then be sure to join us this morning at 11:30 AM in SH218 to find out if the Bible really is as full of contradictions as its critics claim it is!

Were some of the Mosaic law codes based on accurate medical science? Did the biblical writers correctly describe and predict the future invention of helicopters and nuclear warfare?

If you're a Crandall University student, staff, or faculty member, then be sure to join us this evening at 6:00 PM in SH212 as we wrap up our discussion on whether the Bible is secretly filled with scientific facts!
